Edit Your Runs: Application Type & Field

FarmHQ now lets you label each irrigation run with what was applied and which field it ran in. Make the change while a run is active, or go back and update it after the run is done, so your records and reports stay accurate.

Edit Application Type

Every run is recorded as Water by default. If a run applied manure or something else, set its application type to Manure or Other, either during the run or after it's finished.

1AWhile a run is active

Set the application type while the run is in progress, from the device's Controls.

  1. Select the FarmHQ device with the active run.
  2. Tap Controls from the device details panel.
  3. Tap Manage Reel Runs.
  4. Under Application Type, choose Manure or Other.The setting always defaults to Water.
  5. Tap Submit.

1BAfter a run is complete

Label a finished run from the irrigation history of the field it ran in.

  1. From your home screen, tap the gear icon in the top left corner.
  2. From the menu, select Manage Fields.
  3. Select the field the irrigation run took place in.
  4. Select View Irrigation History.
  5. Select the irrigation run you want to label.
  6. Scroll down to Application Type and choose Manure or Other.The setting always defaults to Water.
  7. Tap Submit.

Change Which Field a Run Occurred In

Assign each run to the field where it actually took place, so your field-by-field records are correct.

2AWhile a run is active

Follow the same steps as 1A above, but choose the field instead of the application type, then tap Submit.

2BAfter a run is complete

Assign a finished run to the right field from that field's irrigation history.

  1. From your home screen, tap the gear icon in the top left corner.
  2. From the menu, select Manage Fields.
  3. Select the field the irrigation run took place in.
  4. Select View Irrigation History.
  5. Select the irrigation run you want to label.
  6. Scroll down to Set Field.
  7. Tap Set Field.
  8. Select the field you wish to assign the run to.
  9. Tap Submit.
